Thank you for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves.
Here you’ll find info about our business, our intentions and our ethical promotional methods. It will help you understand us and also to find us at the festivals and, for event organisers, it will help you understand whether we can fit together successfully.
We’ve been operating marquees at festivals for over 7 years and have found our most successful events to be music events with a general age group of 20-35.
We also have a regular market presence at Fremantle as well as regular seasonal market stalls such as Joondalup Markets Friday 7-10pm and Fremantle South Beach Markets Saturdays 10-2pm.

Warm Regards

General Info:
We are a small business running since 2002 and specialising in the supply of herbal alternatives to chemicals and drugs.
Our Philosophy:
Our philosophy of consumption (following) is printed on all the bags we hand out to customers with their herbal products.
We believe that assisting people to form intent’s with regards to what they consume helps to reduce misuse and dependency and enhances their experiences on both a medicinal and psychological level.
THE PHILOSOPHY OF CONSUMPTION
The ultimate alchemy, the deepest magic, is the jewel of knowing that exists in the cells of each and every one of us. That is, the knowing how to travel from one state of flow to another…to take epic inner journeys to unmapped inner realms, to dance in, heal, play & explore new vistas of self.
Plants offer us the keys to an infinite number of these journeys.
Truly, the urban shaman, the inner city warrior, takes these journeys countless times &, in the true spirit of the deep jungle, does so with bravery, centeredness clarity & poise.
The rudder on one’s ship on this truly mysterious journey is the single most important tool to your journeys unfolding…it is intent.
So, when you clarify your journey & choose your key plant with gratitude, don’t sit back and wait to be entertained, guide jour journeys path…find it, mould it, stretch it and allow it to unfold new landscapes within for the ecstatic process of getting to know yourself.
We believe this philosophy rings true right from our sleeping herbs through to our most powerful herbal ecstasy blends.
We have had great success with this philosophy, especially at festivals, with reducing consumption and mixing of substances and have often been called upon with the view to reducing potential health and safety problems with less experienced party-goers.
Our Market Stall Operations:
For the last 2 years Tribe Earth has held a regular weekend stall at Fremantle markets (Fridays 9am-9pm , Saturday 9am-5pm & Sundays 10am-5pm ).
We have a vast return clientele with much interest from travellers & tourists, a return clientele of people who enjoy going out (usually 20-35 year olds) and many return older people looking for medicinal herbs as well as curious new-comers who we'd love to see again as return customers.

We have a very colourful bright happy stall with green, tan, purple and yellow with an informative whiteboard backdrop. Our labels are all laminated hand printed and we specialise in passing on information to assist people giving up substances such as alcohol & tobacco as well as safety information. We also generally advertise some of the more popular gigs, festivals, fairs and conferences at our stall and can sometimes offer subsidised tickets (Eg Earth Dance & The 4 th Annual conference on Shamanism in Peru)
We also do several seasonal markets.

Our Festival Operations:
We operate a marquee at many large music festivals, gigs, fairs and generally have extremely positive responses.
At these events we focus on sales, safety, promotion of the regular market stalls, and promotion of the website and communication of our projects.
At these events, in addition to our dried herbs, liquids and capsules we can also make cookies, syrups and drinks to consume on site.

We’ve been fortunate enough to occasionally assist event organisers and accommodate National Bands. Pictured here with Ganga Giri.

Promotional Materials:
We have printed paper carry bags with website details and our philosophy of consumption.
We also have staff Tribe Earth T-shirts and for sale Tribe Earth T-shirts showing the Mexican Ceiba Tree on the back. The Ceiba Tree was the ancient Mayan Tree of Life. It grows extremely quickly with an almost completely hollow trunk. The Shamans believed they could travel up and down the tree to visit other dimensions. We’ve been successfully selling this t-shirt for $30.00
We hold busy monthly invite only herb meetings and regularly attend herbal conferences both in Australia and Internationally.
We have business cards & printed slips we hand out at all festivals and events and we meet many of our new customers at events and through word of mouth.
This website provides an excellent medium for communication of stall locations, special deals, new herbals as well as providing a portal for customers provide us with much appreciated feedback, requests and ideas.
We also deliver information through our calendar of events on up and coming lectures, festivals, fairs and gigs.
What we've been up to overseas:
We’ve been travelling quite extensively promoting our website and our philosophy of Unity, creating circles amongst people instead of hierarchies. We've also been doing our best to find the best quality, most effective products from the happiest most creative fair tradiest of people.
Whilst away we've also been focusing on collecting the wisdom of tribal stories & artefacts, video footage, still photos & recorded cultural songs & sounds. (Pictured left in Borneo 2008 with Denni and The Chief of Prigig Village)
We also have a view to supporting, financially or otherwise, various projects of the communities we visit. We’ve found an enormous wealth of creative, and sometimes visionary work being carried out by many people often unnoticed and unrewarded.
In July 2008 we visited the Amazon city of Iquitos in Peru to the 4 th annual conference on Shamanism. We met many inspired thinkers including philosophers, scientists, movie makers, artists, journalists and authors and, of course, an invaluable vast group of native peoples who had a wealth of new (ancient) methods of growing, using and ritualising herbals.

Our packaging:
We aim to use only ethically produced, biodegradable, planet and people friendly packaging and seek to employ the creativity of the people we meet wherever possible. Our main tubs are made from recycled pineapple paper by creative Balinese women in Ubud.
We’ve visited the factory and eaten cake with the women and can vouch for their creativity, happiness & thoroughness. Click here for a picture of the women at work.
